I've fixed the permissions for you and also restored the 'about' page

from archive.org for now.
Anyway, the lad.linuxaudio.org vhost is quite outdated (most of the info

dates back to 2002 with some minor updates 2006). A `find` reveals that

there's no valuable information left on it.
(I've migrated the /events/ folder to lac.linuxaudio.org and put 301 aka

"Moved Permanently" redirects in place - the new links are available

from http://lac.linuxaudio.org/ )
I suggest to redirect the main page to http://portal.linuxaudio.org/

until someone steps up and updates the site. Any objections?
