In my tests Qtractor is the clear winner as an up-to-date native VST

host. Very stable. I like JOST a lot, but it has a tendency to crash and

is no longer maintained. Btw, JOST's author has also written and ported

a good collection of Linux VST plugins that play nicely with QTractor.
