I was decided to move on and more or less forget about getting exactly
this sounds for the future, but I turned around 180 degrees and changed
my mind after listening to this:

The synth you hear here is a Roland Juno 6 analog synthesizer (in
production in 1982!). I mean.. listen to how a six voice very simple
polyphonic synth can produce that warm thick sounds and still fit so
perfect in a 2012 mix! It's fantastic and I still don't stop to be
amazed!
