Why not separate the problems? You can create your delay loop using

whichever environment you feel most comfortable with and then use it as

an insert in Nama. Just put a jack input and output at each end of your

programme/patch and then, on the track you want processed in Nama do:

Your track will now be processed in real-time (or you can use the

caching mechanism if latency is a problem) and you can even mix how much

of the processed signal is mixed in with the set_wetness command.

This way, you can tweak the specialised effect however you like and

still work in a DAW environment.
(P.S. I'm sure you could emulate an effect such as what you would like

to achieve using nothing but ecasound/LADSPA, but it would probably be long

and tedious, as it's not really meant to that end: you're probably much

better off using SC/Csound/PD/etc. which are designed to do these

things.)
